Bluegrass seed sowing question

Neighbor wants to know how many lbs of bluegrass to sow per acre. Hes doing 5 acres, that has cows and horses in it.

Look up the variety here:

Pasture Seed & Legume Seed|Farm Seed|Pasture Grass Seed|Grass Seed For Hay|Farmseeds.com

It will probably take 50 lbs/acre for most of them

For pasture up to 20 pounds per acre. Very early Fall is the optimum planting time. IMO it is getting marginally late to plant. Orchard grass will yield more grazing

FarmBoy, I planted bluegrass on some property about 10 years ago, it held strong this year, and that was really a test! about same climate
