Question Mulch

Our electric coop just went through and cut under all the lines. They chipped/shreaded everything. I have one pile that looks like it is mostly leaves and pine chatter with a few wood chips thrown in and another that is mostly wood chips.
Can I use them now or should i wait? I want to use them to mulch around my fruit trees and bushes.

Mulch away. Fruit trees and bushes will appreciate that. Keep the mulch pulled back from the trunks a few inches to keep critters from getting too comfy close to the plant.

OT, but I do want to say that my jaw dropped and my stomach is still growling from hitting your link LOL

Oh the many hours and years spent in your neck o' the woods! The oyster and crab boils and the fragrance of Old Bay Seasoning wafting from the cauldron on the wind. The tidal waters lapping against the jon boat

A lovely memory, thank you

*kicks toe in dirt*

I know........ but I've been to the east coast....twice.

It's hard to duplicate that atmosphere inland.
