Interesting, that is a super 250, 87cc torque monster, late '60's vintage. Those engines were used in the kart racing in the early years of the sport.
Definitely not for your first saw or if you are not into working on saws, parts are hard to find. It looks complete, if the jug and piston are clean, he could easily triple his money by parting it out. If it was close I'd go look at it, and if the flywheel turned, cases aren't cracked, I'd pull the muffler and get a peek at the piston.
Now that's me, playing with old saws as a hobby, This is not a saw for a newbie that needs his saw to complete jobs, not be a project in itself.
Also Mac's were fine chainsaw in their day.
