Any locksmith can make a key, taking the lockset to them makes it cheaper too!
My father was good friends w/ a local locksmith and had the house and garage and deadbolts all work on one key.
On the other hand all the cabin door keys were marked 'Do Not Duplicate'.
I also had a boss who used to lock his keys in the office. His local locksmith installed a lock w a key cut in a device that looked like a dymo label machine on steroids. He would send me to the locksmith with a letter and the locksmith would look in his book [kept in his safe] and set the dial, insert a key and squeeze the handle and hand me another key.
