Hiland Naturals Feed

does anyone here order feed or use feed from this company?...all non GMO, and although it is more than the 'traditional' feed I can get around here, I would prefer to stay away from the GMO grains....

they will ship it to me, and buying in bulk will save some money, but before I plunk down that chunk of change I would like to know more about the feed and the company...all comment will be appreciated...

the animals I am going to feed are 'seasonal' ones, pigs and broilers....

I'd like to know too - that is one of the most vague online ordering sites I've seen. Would be great if they were good, though.

I have never bought from them, but the breeder I bought my goats from lives relatively close to them and goes every month to pick up her feed. She raves about their feed and service.

just had another thought.....is there anyone else from western NC that might want to order some?...I will probably use a combined feed order to make a ton, but the prices get better as the amount goes up, so if anyone else is interested perhaps together we can order more than my ton, and take advantage of better pricing...

NC needs to import feed, not enogh corn & soybans and grain grown there, and some pretty big poultry operations in that state to compete with aren't there?

So different than here in the midwest, we grow too much grain, neighbor stopped by last week, but he was going to look closer to home, he didn't want to transport the corn the 4 miles from my place if he could help it.... I can't imagine shipping feed for the distances you consider normal.

there is plenty of feed around...just not any non-gmo feed...there is beginning to be some interest, but right now, most of what is available here is 'standard issue' ....and the only other non gmo feed is 'organic' and even higher in price....
