I hate murphy & his laws

I am days away from listing my house...

Heard a loud weird sound last night near the house I could not identify ...something hitting the house or shed..actually thought a deer had run into our shed near the house..
No storm, no wind...

So this morning there is a 4 inch around tree limb about 10 ft long straight up and down
through the shed roof..like a spear..even the end of it was tapered..
It would have killed anyone it hit ...

Tomorrow I need to get it out & patch the roof...

Me lady doesn't like Murphy's Laws either.
She had her car worked on and had to show me what they had done,
she lift the hood and attached the little bar to hold the hood up, but
the gromitt that holds the bottom in was now broke and the bottom
of the bar slid out and down came the hood on top of her head.
She only got a lil knot on her head, but my ears were hurting from
what I heard immediately after the hood fell.

Murphy's Law is one of the good laws because its easy to understand.
Its the laws that are hard to understand or the laws that can be interpreted different that are scary.

Be safe fixing the roof.

I hate it when stuff like that happens. We had a tree limb go through the barn roof a while back. Interesting enough, a tree crew had just been working back there the week before....hummmmm. Turns out they had "accidentally" dropped the limb but did not tell me! When we found water in the barn and investigate, we find the limb poked through the tin. The tree guys came back out and fixed it but....how annoying.

Did you get it fixed yet? Hope so.

Apparently there actually was an original "Murphy". A lietuenant or such who worked at Wright-Patterson AFB during WW-II. Saying was if you want someone to really mess up a job, give it to Murphy.

I would be very thankful that it didn't hit the house or that I wasn't out in the shed working!

I swear Murphy lives in my attic! He invites himself over all the time!
