United States Craiglist?

I found it, and assumed that it ment an ad I had placed would be run over all of craigslist pages. It showed an index of cities and asked me to pick my nearest one. I picked Tulsa. When I did, it refered me back to the basic Tulsa area cities that I had always got by clicking onto Craigslist Tulsa

Is there a way that an ad can be placed over all of Craigslist cities?

I would not bother if its really something some one would be after they will find it.

I use searchtempest.com to look for things I'm willing to travel for.

It searchs all craigslist with you search requirements.

Put in your zip and how far your willing to travel and what your looking for.

You can't that list was never set up for that kind of posting, only in a localized area.

How to Post an Ad on Craigslist National Craigslist

is a robust online community that displays classifieds of any sort--from boats for sale to jobs and job services--and is widely thought of as one of the best ways to buy or sell something for a great price. While posting your ad or browsing for a deal, you may realize that Craigslist allows posting only to a single geographic area, and it does not have a built-in nationwide search function. But it is good to know that while you may be limited to localized posting, there are alternatives when searching Craigslist on a nationwide scale.

Craigslist - How To Information | eHow.com

It was basically set up to take the place of putting a want ad in a LOCAL Newspaper, or Want Ads Paper like a shopper gram or Trading Posts, things like that. Which then cost the person money this list in most cases does not cost a thing. But it is For Localized type of selling and buying things.

Googd gosh I surely hope not,t hat would wreck Craigslist in a very short time!!!

Craigslist is a local classified deal, not for national advertising. Don't wreck a good thing.

Take a good photo, describe your item well - you ain't charged by the word, so write a little so folks know what it is - and put a price on it so you ain't wasting our time.

Put it on the local list, if you live near 2-3 you can post it on those 2 or 3.

If you got something worth shipping a long ways, folks will find it when they use Search Tempist to look across many locations.

Don't spam the whole Craigslist with an ad, that would be terrible! The whole point of it is local sales.

If they put in a feature like that the spammers would have craigslist overran in a couple of days.

That is why when selling, I use Craigslist for some things, and E Bay for others.
Use both for what they were intended for. Same thing when it comes to buying things. Each serve their own purpose.
