Reclusive movie companion

I need help with brown recluses in my house. We were just settling down on the couch to watch Batman Etc.., when DW felt something dancing across her legs. I flipped on the lights, and saw a very unwelcome recluse on the comforter. I can deal with bugs of any size and shape in the house. Even other spiders, great and small, except that one. I don't know if I have any more than one, but I'll assume that I do. What to do?

I spray every fall. I can't remember the name of the spray. I do all around the outside of the house & in the basement. Hardly any spiders that way.

I put balls from an osage orange tree in a corner of every room in my house.

Live in peace with them! LOL When there is unfavorable weather they seem to all move in with us. Sometimes we go for weeks without seeing one and then we'll see three in one day. We've never been bitten. (Knock on wood)

I spray spring and fall. I don't like doing it, but I prefer it to brown recluses and other creepy crawlies.

I also put out glue traps under sinks, around plumbing openings and doors to crawl space and attic, etc.

Probably even more important than spraying and glue traps is cleaning stuff out. I rake regularly in plant beds around the house. I'm always cleaning out stuff I don't use and moving things around---even beds.

Seriously, I move the beds in my house, all of them, every few months, a habit I started when someone I knew kept getting bitten by brown recluses because the recluses had built a nest ... behind the headboard of the bed. Ew. These days, sofas, anything they can hide in or under or behind, gets moved, sometimes vacuumed, whatever, just to make sure nothing can take up residence.
