In relation to my Ebay "?"

I was talking with a Ebay Merchant, I find folks selling simular things then check out how they are doing, and occasionally ask questions of them.

Most are pretty forth coming and helpful.

She pointed me to Online Auction, Free Webstore and more! - Great Deals on New & used electronics, crafts, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices.

NO FEES!

This I'm Liking.

Means I can Offer my product at a reasonable price and No my margins with out doubt.

Also No ones going to renig my sale after the fact.

So anyone here been using this site?

Never used the site.

Looks like they use PayPal and credit cards to pay, so don't think they can't "renig" after the sale.

It's all about eyeballs sometimes too. Ebay has 10 of millions of customers at the site daily. This site maybe not so much.

For many, eBay and Paypal fees, are just the cost of doing business and worth it, for the traffic they get.

Does not cost much to try this site.

Good luck.

I went there, and puled up where I wanted to see some things for sale, and it was Nobody selling but TWO items.
In a category of restaurant, equipment and supplies~! Two items and there were just a cheap trays to put salsa can cheese in.

My conclusion is this. IF you really want to SELL things go to where the People Are looking, Selling And Buying, and THAT site was NOT one.

I think e-bay was just in San Francisco years ago--kinda glorified Craigslist. They found their niche, they got "hot", they made a lot of money, went public then ticked off a lot of sellers. If I were selling, I would certainly look for another place as are others like you.

Back when I was an eBay seller, I tried a few of the start up auction websites. Most are no longer in existence and the sales were nearly nonexistent and usually brought far less in profit. I did find that those sites were good for one thing...BUYING! So I always started at those sites when looking for something. Sometimes I got lucky and managed to find something at a bargain basement prices.

If I wanted sales, then I needed to sell on eBay or Yahoo auctions. I regularly ran 100-150 auctions per week to sell brand new decorative items. Once Yahoo auctions went away, there was never another mainstream auction outlet that actually seemed to generate sales at good prices. The next best thing seems to be Craiglist for classified listings... Of course, you have to deal with the Craigslist Crazies!
