Internet Info About Your County

I'm a bit paleo-technic and don't usually use my computer for much more than email.
I recently found an interesting site with lots of info about my county and region along with some pictures. I was especially interested in all the statistics, history, and the agricultural info.
I am wondering if you all know of similar sites for your area and would be willing to share?
Here is mine: UI Extension | Twin Falls County
When the page comes up there is a photo that was taken from the bridge across the canyon and you can actually see the area where my farm is way off in the distance, scroll down to "A look at Twin Falls County" and click on "read more"

When do you go to town for groceries, or do you eat out every Sat. nite?
(When you ask the question on this forum, Google posts it under an appropriate heading........for everyone to see that Googles that heading....)

What is the connection between:
going into town;
eating out on Saturday;
google;
and this thread?

The Ad I see is about freeze-dried food.

Excuuuse Me

I thought this was a place for self reliant, homesteader types to share info and gain understanding of each other's situations. I wasn't expecting an electronical genius to put me down.
I may have just crawled out from under a cyber rock, but I make my own way and support my family from the production of a 1/4 acre. I'm also debt free and have developed a diversified income stream so that I won't be dependant on Social Insecurity when I decide to "retire".

Tomorrow is Saturday, we'll go into town and get supplies, might get a bite to eat too.
If anybody has a favorite site that shows off their area, I would like to check them out when I get back on the interweb in a couple days.

I apologize for offending you. Was pointing out that you may have given anyone enough information to find your home. Some people may not want to give out that much information for anyone to track you by a bit of internet sleuthing. That's all. No offense intended....
