How to reverse house plans?

We want to reverse or flip/flop a house floor plan. Is there an easy way to do it that we are not seeing or is the only way to tediously re-draw the plan?

I took mine to a copy place (years ago) and they copied on a transparent sheet an flipped it. Newer copiers may have a 'reverse' function?

Find out who published the plan, they probably have reverse plans

Mirror image plans would have all the measurement in reverse also

What Alice said. What you want is a "Mirror Image". Our house is built from a reversed plan.

When my parents built their first house they wanted it flip floped from the floor plan their contractor initially provided and he had one already in his files as contractors often flip flop building plans to increase their offerings especially if they are building multiple houses in a sub division or area.

Be careful of flipping a plan , OFTEN THERE IS A REASON for laying out things in a certain way. Think about sunrise and set and prevailing winds.

You take your blueprints to a place that copies blueprints. Then you ask them to make you some copies that are flipped over.

As far as I know, ordinary copy places don't do copies of blueprints. You need a specialty shop. Any contractor could tell you where to find one.
