Corn posting

I went down to a large chicken/farm complex and bought 100 chickens for a buck ea. While there, I was talking to the son of the owner, and he said they had a better corn crop this year than last year. He said last year was spotty. He said over several hundred acres, they only got 1 truck full of corn I think they only got one 2 ton truck with grain racks. He said, this year, tho think, it was more even than last year.

Sounds like a good time to have crop insurance. The yield sounds like it wouldn't pay the combine bill. How would you like to shuck that corn by hand? Might get a good moisture test.
