It is a STIHL WOOD BOSS D28 AV

It has a 17.5" bar and is in good working order.
I'm not a big Ebayer and didn't like buying it without hearing it run but I figured it was worth it.

I have been using a Stihl Super Wood Boss 028 for forever now and love it. I finally decided I needed my own...lol
Paid $175 shipped, what do you think deal or not so much?

I have the exact same chainsaw. I have tried several other brands and this saw is far superior to the others I have used.

yea, probably a 18" bar, I bought it from a pawnshop that put it on ebay, he's probably not measuring it right.

This one looks like its in slightly better shape than the one I've been using, just not a super but should be plenty powerful enough still.

The New WoodBoss new is like $400 and there were nonworking saws for parts on ebay for $150(hint: if anyone has a non working stihl) So I think I did alright.

Its not quite the steal you hear of every so often of someone getting one for $50 but I think its a fair price.

You got a great deal because your Stihl 028 Wood Boss was made in Germany!

The new Stihl MS271 Wood Boss saws are made in the USA....not as good as the German-made saws, sorry to say.

You'll just have to toss that Husky scabbard and buy a Stihl one! Just kidding, I run a Husky myself. Nothing like having a good saw of your very own!
