Love the electric co-op

No bill this month and $59 credit for next month!
TnAndy, April and Sawmill Jim like this.

Mine was 31.72 for power that flowed in, a credit of 79.80 for power that flowed in their direction ( solar infeed ), and a total running credit of 231.53 for the year so far. End of the year, they'll send us a check for about 500 bucks, give or take a bit.

We are on a co-op power co. too, and really like them. They give good service and are easy to get along with. This year we got over $200 back in capital credit.

I not only have a co-op for my electric company, but also a co-op for my telephone co. which is also my internet provider and cable tv provider. Very nice to live in small towns, and be in rural America.

I have a co-op for my electric company. The feed store calls itself a co-op. I don't think they do it the same as other co-ops. I know people who have been members of co-ops before says they sure are disappointed how they seem to work around here...

My light bill is about 200

our co-op has good service but they rape you when it comes to electricity, it costs us over 90 bucks a month just for the right to have service--that does not include the electricity, rather just to have a meter so we could use electricity if we choose. were looking at solar very seriously.

Yeah, ours is $24 per month just for the meter, and I usually end up paying a net of about 11-12 cents per KWH. My highest bill so far this year was $106, which was last month. The coop does give good service, but like our county government, they have added a lot of "positions" over the years.

I like our electric co-op also. Since I retired I have never exceeded my budget for electricity and when they did the meter conversion from analog clocking meters to digital meters my monthly usage decreased by 15% and the two incandescent light bulbs I still use outdoors started lasting about three times longer before burning out.

A lineman I know said they found many analog meters in our co-op that were over 30 years old and running fast and as they evaluate meters and accounts those of us who were charged too much will most likely get rebates to our accounts.
