Yes indeed!

It has been dry. Was a joy to see that pouring down.

We are feeling guilty here. We've not had to water the garden once this year (knock on wood) and it just quit raining....again.

We can only dream of rain here. Look like two years in a row with no tomato crop. 100+ degrees again today, 30% humidity.

We had six inches of clouds and tuff thunder, It rained within 3 miles of us is both directions, but none of the nasty old muddy water dribbled on our place.

we got a sprinkle and two rumbles of thunder this morning, then it cleared and became all the more humid aiming for over 100* here again.

Souther MN here, was driving out of town & poured so hard had to slow down, cars were stopping on the side.

In the 4 miles to the farm, turned to a light drizzle, and I got .12 inch of rain. the driveway under the trees wasn't completel wet.

Sigh.

Very scattered and small rain cells.....

I am so glad for those getting rain. I am starting to do silly things, like leave my tools out in the weather, just to tempt those clouds.

The billion-dollar rain for Columbia and Dane Counties began at 6:31PM here. After 2+ months of only traces of rain, the sound of it beating on the A/C unit was music. What began with just taking 20 gallons of water to the garden per day had worked up to 3 and 4 trips with up to 90 gallons. All that my efforts were intended to just keep everything alive. Two weeks worth of that fell in just over an hour. Amen!

ok, we got 2 inches in 30 minutes last night

which would be good by itself...
but the wind took out some of my fruit trees last night and a few other things.

oh and it just started raining again right now.

20% precipitation, my butt.

It's so dry here, we got one storm yesterday that poured 1/2", 6 hours later I kid you not the ground was dry again. Like it never happened!
