It hit 109 here today. They're predicting 103 for tomorrow, but they were predicting 105 for today, so we'll see.

Fought a grass fire that included a barn with 90 round bales of hay for 7.5 hours yesterday and it was 105....upside was no one was hurt and I lost 6 pounds!!!

Its serious folks, please be careful even if you just out in your yard, I always worry about the kids and elderly who are more prone to heat injuries.

Hmm, well, it got up to 72 degrees. A bit overcast with a bit of rain but then the sun came back out. It's supposed to get up to 73 tomorrow.

Yesterday 6/30 it got to 116 it is shaded but it is just below were the sun can hit. I think that the temperatures we see here are a bit high maybe 5 degrees or so. But it was still very hot.

Are people giving the actual temp or the feel like temp.
When I watch the weather they mention the hot spots across the U.S. and I don't remember seeing any temps over 110.

My thermometer read 116° Friday under a big oak tree with no sun. My neighbor had 113°
down the hill from me.

It got to just over 80 yesterday. The dew point was in the 50s. I think the last of the snow may have melted.
