Wisc dairy calves for sale

Way back in the late 60s I bought 10 holstein dairy calves out of Successful Farming in the back ads,
A Guy met me in St Joe, in a rain with a grain truck full of calves. I took my 10 in my 46 Chevy pk with stock racks on and brought them home. All lived and grew up.
Question is, Do dairymen up there still do that/ Dairy calves here in okla are SCARCE, If they do, what do they run nowadays. They were $100ea then

I remember those ads. I don't have anything to do with farming any more so I don't pay attention. The two big farm papers in Wisconsin are Wisconsin State Farmer and The Country Today. I think they use to advertise in Hoards Dairyman also. These publications are all online, I would just google their advertising departments.

I think one of the big cattle dealers was in Middleton, WI. Seems like the name was Nolan. I think. Long time ago.
