I use Searchtempest.com to do a wider craigslist search. You put in your zip code and the radius you want to search in, and it will give you all of the results.

Found it. Correct me if I hope Im wrong

IF I put an item up for sale through it, It dosent go to all the CLs in the country. ONLY if im searching for an item through it will it SEARCH through the CLs in the country.

AND thats only good for those who know it. Which I didnt till a mointh ago, tho I had been useing CL for a few years.

Not sure what you mean by national craigslist? There are a bunch of sites that let you search all of craigslist, is that what you are refering to?

yes, but im not searching to find anything. Im wanting to sell. And if only a limited number of people know this service exists, it likely wouldnt be a big audience that looks at my stuff.

I mean, IF what I wanted to sell wasnt put out nationally so that I, for instance, could look at Tulsa CL and find something I wanted, but that it was in Spokine Org, and I didnt know about nationwide accessability to CL, I wouldnt know that the item exisited in org.

Its just a search..What you post is local and if someone uses that search and enters "everywhere" or a certain # of miles from them they would find it that way.

FBB if you want to post in your town and another town, it can be done but you got to "out smart" """"Craigslist automatic post blocker""" It will not allow you do post the same add in two locations. You can re-write, re-title it and wait a little while is best before you post it in another town. If there is a "place" that allows you to post all over the USA/World---I never heard of it. Probably could Pay to do that.

I don't believe there is a Country Wide place on CL where you can list things for sale.
That is what makes CL so simple to use is people GO to the area Next to them or a State next to them to buy.
Now E Bay Would go national because people search for Items and it lists what ever you have for sale. Throughout the country. Heck i sold a saddle and shipped it form WI to Oregon. But if I had listed it on CL I would have never reached that party in Oregon UNLESS they were looking at each and very State.~!
