Internet Difficulties And How to Check

There are 2 ways I know of to be able to check your internet download speed. One is by going to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test This will check your ping time and download/upload speeds.

The other is to go to your command prompt and type in PING google.com -n 100 . This will cause your computer to ping google 100 times in a row. This will tell you your ping time on an average and will tell you each time in the 100 pings that the ping packet was lost. Yesterday, before my internet provider came out to replace my defective radio antenna I was losing 30-40% of the ping packets. Since it was replaced zero loss and downloading at 2.17meg.
