State, City Information. Moving, Just Curious?

So much information about so many places. There is even a forum so you can get into discussions with people about the town you are researching.

Stats about all US cities - real estate, relocation info, crime, house prices, cost of living, races, home value estimator, recent sales, income, photos, schools, maps, weather, neighborhoods, and more

I post in the forums there. I strongly suggest that people research an area before moving, and rent if possible before buying.

You surely have been aware of and have been using the website much longer than I have been aware of it, but I find the amount of information incredible. It is also interesting to check out familiar places to see what they have listed I was not aware of. It would be fun to get some pictures of some of the long standing landmarks of my home town to post as there are no really good ones posted at this time.

We used that heavily to narrow down our list of places to move. I also strongly suggest Crime Mapping - Building Safer Communities! although it doesn't appear all communities participate.

I have been a member there for a couple of years , there is a lot of good info if you read back through the old post in an area that you are interested in .
