Need help with mig welder value

I have an older HTP Maxi Mig 220volt welder. IT uses the argon gas I guess it is. Ive never messed with wire fed welders before.

Anyone have any clue as to a what would be a fair price on it? ITs got a good lead and gun and ground lead. Looks like all it needs it the spool of wire and a can of argon gas.

Looking online, I cant find much at all on this particular welder. I do see that the 220v gas mig welders are expensive. Ive always used a stick welder though.

IT appears they sell for about $1200 to $1300 new, MIG 200 Welders, MIG 200 Welding Machine, MIG 200 Tools | USAWeld.com

(not sure if Cylinder with the welder or not), and my guess is the cylinder, most likely about $125 to $250 in new value. (buy or lease)

depending on age and use, and condition, I would think it should easily be worth 50% of new,

I would say at lest $600, maybe up to $1000.

Thank you veery much for the info. I made a trip to the hardware store and bought a spool of flux core wire for it which lets you use the machine without the argon gas. I tried it out and this machine welds great!

I had someone give this to me saying it didnt work. I replaced a $1 fuse and its up and welding. Ive always used a stick welder before, but will give this thing a shot. Just testing it out, it sure seems a lot easier to weld with.

Sounds like you have needs for welding sometimes.
The welder works fine and was given to you for free.
Keep it.
A few stainless steel or aluminum or thin steel weld jobs and it will have paid for itself.
Welders hold their value very well.
