My guess is that those "public servants" (how's that for an oxymoron??) are really going after the "food sovreignty" issue. More and more areas across the country are declaring "food sovreignty."

I am guessing that they are hoping to have the food sovreignty negated....and, thereby, set a precedence.

After all, big agribusiness does not like any competition.
springvalley likes this.

I wish I could just find someone close enough to me to sell it at a price I can afford. My plan if I ever find someone, is to minimally pasturize it. I don't want homogenized, ultra pasturized but I would pasturize it myself just to be safe.

Any ideas on how to follow the story and learn the outcome of his case? It is legal in NC to sell raw goats' milk for pet consumption only. Currently my excess feeds a baby goat rejected by his mother and two other goats a lady bought with no dam at home to feed them. But I often have requests for people who want to drink it themselves. They are incensed when they learn it is illegal. I hear, "The government can't tell me what I can and can't drink!" or "This stuff is way safer than what is sold on grocery store shelves!"
