uses for clay kitty litter?

I've got 70 pounds of the clay type kitty litter that I want to dispose of. What is it good for? I live on a chipped and sealed road, would it fix some pot holes?

It works well for cleaning up oil spills.

You can hold onto it to sprinkle on icy areas in the winter, or keep it in your car/truck in case you get stuck somewhere and need some traction.

Gets very slick trying to drive across it and it will splatter on your vehicle.

here in Michigan a lot of people carry it in the trunk of their car, it is great for spills as said above but also if you get in an ice storm or lose traction on the road you can toss some under your car tires..

it can be mixed with your soil in smaller amounts esp if you have sandy soil to help it hold water..and can be mixed with gravel in a driveway, but needs the gravel to bind to.

you could sprinkle it in layers in your compost pile..and if you have woods you could broadcast it into the woods and the worms will incorporate it in..

I guess you could even broadcast it in your lawn, but finely so it isn't in clumps.

You can add it as an amendment to soils for succulents (sp).

We put some cat litter in the bottom of a raised bed. We needed to fill in the space without having to buy potting soil. So, we mixed cat litter with some rotten wood chips and dumped it in the bed. Probably about 8 - 10 inches of it. Then, we topped it with good soil for planting. Worked good.
