We refinanced through them two weeks ago. It was easy as pie. BOA was a pain in the butt, they kept saying we had to prove we lived there. We bought the house, was a foreclosure through them 2 years ago. BOA refused to use our mail, drivers license, or our taxes to prove residence. They claimed the olde owners still lived there, these are the people BOA evicted! I really liked using Quiken and would do it again in a heart beat.

We're in a Re-Fi with them right now. So far the process has been pretty smooth. Their rate - as was everyone else's rates - were lower in their ads. Still, if all goes as planned we will be saving over $550 per month on our mortgage payment. I did shop others, including local bank branches, and none offered as good a deal as Quicken Loans.

We'll see in a few weeks if it actually closes!!!

JMHO from bitter experience - avoid Bank of America like the Black Plague!
I'll spare you the details as it was one of my family members, not me, who was run through their grinder. NOT Pretty! And his credit was in the 800 range

JMHO, your mileage may vary.

Because we had a farm and 46 acres, we couldn't use them - had to go through Farm Credit Services. If you have more acreage, you might want to try them too....depends on your land. With Quicken, they wouldn't use the value of all the acres - just a 5 acre parcel by the residence.....

Our oldest son and his wife just refinanced their house with Quicken and got 4.3%. I was just talking to him about it the other day and he said it was very easy and painless and they were vry pleased.

I think that is pretty common. WHen we bought our 80, all the banks we talked to, including the credit union, said the same thing

We just refinanced with them too, at 2.9% for 15 years, on our 5 acres + house. Chopped a good deal off our payments! Hubby handled it, but it went pretty well, from what I understand.
