gotta love almostspring

It's Almostspring !!

Monday, we have a beautiful snowfall. Lovely, large, fluffy, flakes coming very slowly straight down. 3 hours- 2 inches of it. I just sat and watched it fall.

Tuesday - 67 degrees. Snow is replaced with mud puddles.

Wednesday- 67 degrees. the sea gulls are back on the lake (okay, to be exact, they are river gulls) I love to listen to them. We also have gusting 50 mph winds. It's even blowing the chickens around.

Thursday's prediction? 40 and rain

I love it!

Same conditions here. Except our wind is holding steady in the 50s instead of gusting- so today is the perfect day to line dry the bedding! Just got to watch out for earaches and flying debris (farmers started planting potatoes this week.) I love it, too!!! Almostspring is as good as almostChristmas in my book!

We're having the same on again off again spring weather here too. It's about 50o here and Mr Cardinal has been singing his little heart out all day trying to win himself a mate.
I love it too

We had new snow, cold and wind yesterday, after a melt off in the previous couple of weeks. Now today it's been just gorgeous, high 40's and sunshine. We're due for 50 degree plus temps over the next few days.

Finished a bunch of bookkeeping today so I'm anxious to get out and play in the lawn and garden tomorrow! Can't wait for solid warm temps!

It's crazy. I kind of like it. Maybe it will be warm today. Maybe we will have a blizzare. It keeps you guessing. I love the wind. I actually howls across our place. I thought there were big trucks driving by our house this morning - nope- just the wind.

Around here the signs of Spring:
Geese up high and flying North.
Does (deer) have chased last years fawns away in prep for this years crop.
The robins are back and haven't seen a cardinal at the feeder in over a week.
Of course temps in the 50's, no snow on the ground, trout season only 23 days away, all sure help with the attitude.

Downside - it's W A Y to early and the trees are beginning to bud...........

Brenda,

That blizzard was nuts, wasn't it? It's also nuts how fast it melted down in 48 hours. Then there was last night's crazy rain storm...

Its been such a mild winter and spring is looking to be a bit more feisty.....
