I need a 70 pound small package (agriculture equipment) valued at $849 Canadian shipped from Winnipeg, Manitoba to 27013 North Carolina. The UPS calculator for ground delivery is showing $99.95 USD. Any thoughts on how to get the package here more cheaply?

What about Greyhound, they ship out of Canada, tend to be inexpensive and insured.

The GReyhound "Package express" part of the operation is very reasonable.

When calculating cost make sure you have the correct size. 70lbs is the top end of what UPS will carry without added cost, but if the physical size is large or odd sized there are additional cost What is your parcel post cost? within the US, I can send 70lbs across the US for $50.
