South Florida Folks...Palm Beach County area...

Hey all. A couple questions if anyone on my area can help, it would be great.

1) is there a processor around here? I mean, within an hour of so of PBC?

2) Anyone in the Jupiter area know a Large Animal Vet?

OK, just wondering if, and hoping that, someone on here can give us a solid, reputable person/people!

I asked question 1 years ago of the South Florida Fair website. I would love to bid at the fair auction where the 4Hers auction off their animals. Never got a response from the Fair people, nor from the Extension Agent. BUt that was years ago.
Irma Morales DVM pictures hogs, cattle and horses on her yellow pages ad 561 582 3364. 2008 Yellow Pages. Sge's in Lake Worth but could maybe refer you to a Jupiter large animal specialist. Reid nad Associates in Loxahatchee are equine surgeons 561 790 2226. Wellington Equine Associates is 561 790 0001. Good luck.

Thanks Grandmotherbear. Ive tried the horse folks to no avail yet, but might have found a local lady vet...maybe.

Might have to build a cold room for the the processing. My brother is competent in deer and figures we could learn the rest, and i have an aquiantance who's family were butchers and he was, too, before become a pro chef...he could be of assistance in the cuts he says.
