How is the color in your area?

It was so dry here in eastern Okla. that I did not think that the trees would be pretty, but here in my pasture you can see they are pretty. Hickorys, oaks, sassafrass, blackgum sumac and others. Love the color. How do the trees look in your area. I know if you have the maples, they are pretty. How is the color in your area? - Homesteading Questions

Finally one year of frost before the rains took all the leaves. A lot of color starting. We do have a lot of maples, flowering plums andsuch along with fruit trees....James

Beautiful photos! Our property has been really pretty with fall colors, but most of the 'colors' are on the ground right now after about three nights of freezing temps.

We're about out of color here. Yellows are left, no reds. Winter's coming!

It's getting prettier and prettier everyday here in the South. Hubby and I went for a hike today and I was kicking myself for not bringing my camera. It's raining now, but if it's nice tomorrow, I'm going to head out and get a few shots.

Well, we usually don't see any decent color till Nov, but thanks to the drought, we actually got a ton of color early. All kinds of yellows, reds and oranges. Pretty, pretty.

Pretty much yellow now. The reds, greens, and russets are gone. Last stage before "white"......

Well we woke up to white this morning, but the color was pretty much gone anyway.

In SC, the color isn't as dramatic as say, VT, but there are bright spots. I caught this skinny little maple out in our woods. It just glowed in the morning sun.

The fall colors here got a nudge back during a few weeks without rain. It's not the prettiest tree color year but it's nice to see it without snow. I see next state over from me that bee has plenty of the white stuff to share. As beautiful as bee's photos are, I still don't want any.

We had beautiful foliage this year which came early, lasted long and then was gone almost overnight with a wind storm. Now we mostly have some yellows left.

Cheers
