Hey Buzz saw blade sharpeners

I got the teeth swedted with my new handy dandy spioffy iffy tooth bender I bought at the sale last month. NOW, my question is, and PLEASE think about how you answer, as I read every word.

IF a tooth is, say for this question, pointing to the right. Is the slant of that tooth higher on the outside meaning I would sharpen it with the file, from outside pushing the file from the inside and upward to the outside, OR, Is the higher side of the tooth on the inside, meaning I would push the file from the outside to the inside going up with the slant?? I cant see any slant, which dosent mean there isnt one. Just means, at 64 I cant see a slant.

Depending upon the type of blade (intended use) it may not have a 'set'. How many teeth on the blade? Fine or course?

Not sure it matters which way you file it. I know my circular saw grinder only spins one direction and you just set the angle to match the blade or have it on zero. Basicaly replicate what was there before. Are you topping the teeth or side dressing as well as facing the teeth? Carbide or steel?

Bill:

I have photos but I do not know how to post them.

The outside edge of the tooth is lower creating a saw point, but very slight.
