FreezePruf to aid plants agains frost and freezing.

For those hardy gardeners that want a little longer growing season I thought it might be time to remind everyone about FreezePruf. a spray on product which enables plants to survive a few extra degrees of cold. Said to extend the survivability of the plant from 2 to 9 degrees.

Interesting not sure what I would use it on since late blight is what gets my tomatoes before the frost does. Right now I have a bed of eggplant that I'm covering every night with a sheet of plastic. There's a dozen tiny purple globes I'm trying to baby thru to harvest. Broccoli is also covered but that's due to skunks who dig up the bed looking for grubs. Salad greens are in cold frames. As well as Chard.

But of course I am thinking Autumn not early Spring. Something to look into, thanks WIHH.
