Monett, MO?

Was there last weekend due to a dog event. Loved the area but could tell it was rural. Anyone know what it's like to be in that area?

Lots of work if you eant factory work, Jack Henry Associates big in computer/banking.
Pay is not the greatest but the cost of living is lower than the big cities.
Construction work is slow, but Joplin is about 35 miles due to May tornado lots of construction work CC says good for next several years.
PM me if you want I'll try to answer questions or find answer.
Were you here running dogs?

I grew up about 20 miles south of Monett in Cassville.
Yes,it's mostly factory work or the chicken plant in Butterfield.

It's a small town area.

Yes, I was running my dog in the bay pen for practice on wild hogs. Here is a short video of his 2nd time in the bay pen. He's doing very well for a 2nd timer:
he's the blue merle dog. I was told the hog was screaming. Yes, they scream to try to unnerve the dogs and do a lot of noise making and the experienced hogs who are far more aggressive can be quite dangerous. This hog was ideal for beginner dogs. My goal is to try to get him in the woods because he has a very good nose and wants to be a squirrel dog too but I don't know anyone personally who would allow my dog to go squirrel hunting with their dogs to actually find out. He treed a squirrel for 5 mins flat without stopping and followed the squirrel while jumping up and down while baying at every breath. I had to drag him off the tree otherwise he would've stayed.
