Chicken feet, gizzard question

When I was a teen, I had a key chain that was a chicken's foot. I have a pot of feet sitting in the kitchen- how do I preserve those feet to make a key chain? Also have a pot of gizzards- hubby always does them- but had to go. Do I cut out the pocket of stuff? Empty it out? At a loss here....

Not much meat on a chicken foot. I think you can just dry them.

Just slice the gizzard along one side, peel out the lining and wash well.

No idea about the chicken feet thing. Mom always breaded and fried the chicken gizzards when I was growing up, although I don't remember how or if she cleaned them. DH turns green at the thought of chicken gizzards, so I've never tried to feed them to him.
