Treated wood bridges - kits or assembled

I saw this on "OUTDOOR CHANNEL" Saturday 6:30 PM ET
"The Management Advantage"
BUILDING BETTER ROADS
For this last show of our 11th season Chuck Sykes discusses road systems,
one of the most overlooked and most important aspects in land and wildlife management.

All Terrain Bridge provides quick, easy access for jobs ranging from construction projects to private land needs. Whether your job requires the need to span washouts, creeks, ditches, rivers, or even an existing "less than load worthy bridge", we offer a complete turn-key installation on both temporary and permanent bridges.

Not sure I would use treated wood near a water source.

That's the only kind you can use if you want it to last more then a couple of years

Yes for sure treated is the only way to go. Just like setting in fence posts. You want it to last.

My father in law wasn't allowed to use treated wood for his boat dock at the lake where he lives. It's not suppose to be used where humans or animals (domestic/livestock) might be drinking the water or even where their feed comes in contact with it. That's why I wouldn't be using it near a water source on my farm, although I'm aware that it is used in some places for docks and the like - there are also some areas that restrict the use of treated wood near water sources. Pretty sure though it's only federally mandated near human water supplies.
