Any brazers here?

I am needing to braze some things together. I would like to know what torch you use, and what wire you use. Thanks in advance!

What are you brazing? Cast iron? Generally brass rod, oxyacetylene torch.

Depends on how thick the metal. I have the small Victor torch, the older small nut style. I use all 3 size tips. I buy the regular brass brazing wire. Clean up the pieces being brazed, grind a V in them and leave a small gap. If position is important, remove a little material to make gap....James
