Those doing Mini-Aquaponics

I've started up a small (10 gal) Aquaponics setup. I've got the fish going strong and my pepper seedlings (I started them just before I decided to do this) are ready to go in. I've got a small fluorescent light from Lowes (under cabinet light). Will the standard bulb that comes in it work ok? The only tub I had on hand close to the right size is pink. I don't see that it matters a whole lot but I'm sure it will keep some natural light out.

I've been reading up on this for weeks now but if anyone has other suggestions, let me know...

Here's the light
