Those are nice.

I love walking sticks. My now ex-husband made me one several years ago, although it is nowhere as nice as yours. But I still have it and treasure it. It's sitting inside my front entry closet.

Very nice Bragscowboy, I like the way you put the stone in the first one, and how much carving did you have to do on the second one? It looks pretty natural.
A few years ago when we were cleaning off some of the underbrush around the farm we went through first and cut all the small trees that had vines growing around them. I found about 25 and have them in the barn. One of these days I will get around to cleaning them. I see them for sale all the time for 5/10 dollars, thought they would bring more than that.

Will bring more than that if carved on. I would take a lot more than that to get one of mine. I have cut some sassafras before and use the grinder to cut the limbs of, sand some and then put a strap and sell for 10.
No, the carving are all real and I have put sets in the eyes of both snakes and the one in the Mountain Man. Thanks again, and I will post some more I have made.

Very nice! When I was a kid, we hiked a lot and the first thing my dad had us do before starting out would be to find a good sturdy walking stick. I guess that left an impression 'cause I have areal fondness for walking sticks now.
