Southeast Old Threshers Reunion

June 30 - July 4th in Denton, NC
I'll be there demonstrating portable sawmills. There will be tons of antique tractors, antique engines, steam tractors/engines, and more.

Just thought I'd share the info if anyone in NC or southern VA (heck even SC isn't too far) is looking for some fun entertainment this weekend.

Great I plan to be there too...

Gotta visit Dad first though back in Fayetteville so may be on the last day. Are all events going through the fourth?

Was at the NC Fairgrounds event a few weeks back but it was mostly a museum... The Sandhills club was there though demonstrating their equipment. I have some of those pieces (corn sheller, hammer mill, burr mill, seed cleaner etc) but haven't got them working yet. It was great to see some of that machinery in action...

I hope to see some of the horse pulls too... didn't act quick enough to score a deal on an old sawmill just a few months back... Still I'll be looking to see some at work...

The events do go on through the last day. Towards the end of the day people tend to start clearing out but it's not like the little shows where when one leaves, they all pack up. Also with the 4th being Monday and therefore lots of people off next week, I'm not sure what the crowd will be like.
There is over 1000 Tractors there and probably close to that in engines. That doesn't count the dozen or more steam tractors they run at the park. It's pretty cool.
We'll be up in the field with the Hud-Son bandsaws. Come say hello.
