doomsdsy preppers on NGEO

Just sitting here reading the forum and a documentary came on national geographic channel about peppers. Saw some good idea but I sure wouldn't advertise my plans, cache, and location on tv!

That was the weirdest thing about the whole show.
"I believe the world as we know it will cease to exist and anarchy will reign. Would you like to know what city I live in and all the supplies I have on hand so you can come take them from me when the time comes?"

A true prepper wouldn't be sharing this info with anyone.

I watched that show too. Proved to my husband that trying to make our farm sustainable wasn't the craziest idea around....lol I didn't understand the lady saying she didn't tell anyone what they were doing and appeared to be just average folks on national tv.

Maybe they were lying about their location. Maybe they have means to defend their supplies.

I went to Nat Geo's site. I could not find the show. What was it called?

You can find it on youtube under Doomsday Preppers. It is in 4 parts.
I enjoyed it! It gave my family and I a lot to talk about and discuss what we would do.

Wink I must be looking for trouble today

It could be just a paradoxical nature of an obsession to further validate it by bringing others into the fold.
