Went to the community sale tonight

at Okmulgee, Okla. Goat sale. a pair of goats came out. One was papered but the other wasnt. Sold them both, take your pick. Both brought $50. Owner said they would let the non papered one go for that, but to sell the papered one seperate. They did. It brought $45. lol goat sale tonight. Yup the guy said. Starts sharp at 6 30. I got there at 15 after 6. It didnt start till 7 30. They were outside selling a buncha chickens and rabbits, and other stuff. Sat an hour before they sold a goat, and the goats were all sold before another hour went by. I sat there longer waiting for a goat to sell, than I did when they were selling them , and came home with nothing anyhow

Sometimes there is a better sale going on in the parking lot than the auction barn.

If your talking about Okmulgee, I dont know as I cant stand in a crowd all that time. If your talking in general, I saw 2 mos ago where some people had bought stuff and had taken it out by the road by the shed they were doing the selling. I guess a few people were exchangeing stuff for a few bucks kicked in. I guess somebody turned them in to the auctioneer. I heard him say that he was doing the selling on his property, and NOBODY else. If it happened again, they would be banned from the sale.

I've actually bought stuff from people in the parking lot mostly though it's when they buy a box of stuff for one item I'll buy the rest off of them.
