raspberries and cows

I am thinking of planting some raspberries along a fence that has cows grazing on the other side. will the cows bother the berries or leave them alone?

If the cows can stick their heads through the fence, they will probably snack on the leaves...

Mine will eat the canes when I cut them so I imagine they will eat them on the bush.

For that reason we put ours out from the fence, probably about 4-5 feet and it has worked well, cows can't get them and we can pick on both sides.

oh yeah, we had a calf pastured next to the raspberries last summer. She stretched that temporary fence as much as she could and munched those raspberries that she could reach right to the ground.

Lessons learned, Calves are stronger than you think.
Calves reach farther than you think they can.
Protect all fences with some electric wire.
