is everyone having a happy mother's day?

I hope so.

of course I'll spend 95% of mine basically alone, but that's OK, I like alone

Ron is asleep, went to bed at 7 am this morning so he'll sleep till dark

Joel has to work 12 hours (84 this week, sheesh)..so I don't expect to see him for more than a few minutes between wake up and get to work.

I'll be busy outside though it is a beautiful day already even though it was 31 when I got up

My youngest DD has been on rampage this weekend...... she's 9, can't wait until she's a teenager

I had to cancel our family dinner plans for MD last night, because she wasn't behaving and I couldn't find a sitter. She's acting just as poorly today, so I'm getting dinner to go from Outback for myself....then I'm going to eat it right in front of her! Evil Mommy, that's me....but that's what she gets for making my MD weekend he!! for me

Having a WONDERFUL day. DS who lives out of state called yesterday morning, I thought for a yack fest, while we were talking and me doing the laundry the door bell rang I told him hang on I need to see who's at the door this early. Guess who???? What a wonderful surprise!!! Both sons took me out for lunch, we watched a movie, I got 2 huge pots of flowers and a beautiful necklace and more plants coming my choosing. I truly feel blessed with such thoughtful and wonderful sons!!!! I just can't stop smiling.

I had an awesome day. DS and DH actually fixed me breakfast in bed, and did a great job on it. We played hookie from church. Instead, I sat and watched tv all day. Well, actually I sat and watched the Frontier Land series that DH got me for Mother's day. Then he cooked some chicken on the grill, picked some lettuce and green onions from the garden and made me a wonderful supper. Only bad thing about today was that my neighbor ended up going to the ER last night and they have kept him for a few days, so we're trying to help his DW by taking care of their dog and making sure she has a meal when she comes home to shower and change clothes.
