thanks Don for that great link. I found the one that was written in 1912 especially interesting.

Yes. That's my favorite too.

I put together the book called "The Kitchen Gardener's Guide." It's also packed with old-time hints and methods. I culled info from late 1800s farm journals and garden guides.
