gas leaking out of chainsaw fuel cap....

This is the second time this has been happening. Once I replace the cap, all is well. then that piece disconnects in the middle on the inside then it begins leaking. That piece on the inside is just a way of keeping the cap with the saw...so I thought....

..suggestions...I think I will get a new cap;......

fixed it.....I did an online search for it and basically it stated the vent hole probably had some dust in it. So..., I shot some starting fluid inside and out of the cap and wiggled the rubber dude and its fixed.....

I store my saw with the gas/oil caps up incase of leakage.
I use the saw about every 2 days.
