Trays For Dehydrator?

I'm going to be making a solar dehydrator pretty soon. I'm at a loss as to what to use for the drying trays.

They have to go into the dishwasher, be non-toxic, have good airflow and relatively non-stick.

I was planning on stainless steel window screen and haven't been able to find it. Dairy supply is supposed to sell stainless steel filters, and I haven't been able to find any of that, either.

I'm not so sure about how hardware cloth would do in the dishwasher and it's a bit expensive to have to throw out if it rusts.

I am eager to hear suggestions or learn what others have used.
