Moving near Eminence, Mo

We are moving near eminence, mo soon and I have enjoyed reading all of the posts people put on here concerning the area. I do have a quick question and any help is appreciated. My husband travels with his work, is the area safe for a woman alone? I am not worried about wildlife at all, I have always lived near wildlife, it is the human kind I am concerned with. Are there any particular things you would give advice on? Everyone I have met from the area are so nice that I just can't imagine there being any problems but I am definately a country girl and don't have a lot of experience with crime. I know that the locals know a whole lot more than I do about their area.

The trail rides sound great! We love to ride. Our land is actually about halfway between Eminence and Salem. I appreciate the comments and would love to hear as much as I can.

We're not familiar enough with the area to vouch for the two-legged animals, but DH drives through there on his way to Jefferson City and he says that it is absolutely beautiful. He claims it to be the most beautiful part of the state.
