How 10/2009 Fiesta Broccoli from Territorial Seed Grew 7/2010
Fom October 2009 to July 2010!
We planted this in glass topped wooden cold frames, very late, and the cold and snow led them to live quite a sheltered life. We put tarps over them when temps dropped into the teens. They stayed covered for2 weeks while we were away to boot. They were very small in early Spring, but very healthy. We transplanted them into a hoop bed. The harvest of crowns was good but the side shoots that followed were bountiful. Some were still coming in July in full sun. Just thought I'd share.
