Any fans of WIND AT YOUR BACK here? I have a question.

I just became a fan of Wind At Your Back and have watched five seasons of it, but then the show just ends in the fifth season without any real clear conclussion.

I looked around on-line to see if the show continues past the fifth season but all I have found leads me to believe that there were only five seasons produced.

My question is: are there any more seasons of this show past the fifth?

Thanks.

never heard of it. Can you give me a little more info? What's it about? Which network? How is the title related to the series? Anyone I might know who is in it? Thanks

it is a canadian show that is aired on BYU (a mormon station) and INSP (a christian station).

If you have no idea what it is, I doubt you can help me.

No there were only the 5 seasons then it was unexpectedly cancelled. There was a Christmas movie that was supposed to tie up all the loose ends... kinda... sorta... have you seen that?

Yep. They're reruns of the show that aired in Canada in the late 90s.

I missed the christmas special. I hope to catch the christmas special when it comes on again. The INsp channel just restarted the show, so hopefully they will play the christmas show even though it will be spring by the time they get to it.

Dalek, you like this show?
I don't know why they just stopped it so jarringly.
It is a good show.

I think it's Wind at MY Back.

Apparently not available on-line, but here is a description for those who are interested:

Storyline
It's the summer of 1932, and the Depression is taking its toll on the people of Ontario. Jack and Honey Bailey own a hardware store in North Bridge, and Jack, understanding the hardships of the townsfolk, provides credit to whoever needs it, which seems to be everybody. Honey is a little more business oriented with their customers, but that does not prevent the hardware store from going under and the Baileys declaring bankruptcy. Honey's brother, Joe Callaghan, is not of much assistance to his sister's family as he too is just scraping by running his rooming house; he has often needed to live off his sister. Jack and Honey feel they have no choice but to ask Jack's family for support. Offered by Jack's mother, Jack and Honey with their brood - pre-teens Hubert (known as Hub), Henry (known as Fat) and infant Violet - decide to move to Jack's hometown of New Bedford to live in the abandoned Bailey family summer house located just outside of town at Bass Lake...

I watched this also. I don't think there are any more past the fifth season........and the Christmas one. It was really, really good. I enjoyed watching ALL of these while visiting an Aunt in Knoxville several years ago.

I always check Netflix...season 2 is there but not the others. Ebay has most of them but I didn't look at price. This does look good.
