You can check ebay for completed sales of the same doll. Don't

I google Deanna Durbin doll and found this 2009 Article on Doll Sales.. A "Deanna Durbin" doll sold for $605.

It depends on how rare each doll is. A stump doll is priceless. A friend of mine is selling a doll collection and the values are all over the place. He uses books to get a general idea, but also checks out ebay. If you have a real treasure, a museum could help you. Prices are down, as everywhere, but for a truly rare unique doll, there are people with money who will pay big bucks. Do you know how old each doll is? That would be a starting point. Then all wood; wood head and bodice, cloth body; ragdoll; porclain face, etc. If you know who made each doll and the doll's name, this would simplify matters.

I have twin composition dolls..the story behind them is the old woman got them as a little girl and wrote their names on the bottom of their feet so she could tell them apart. One name looks like Joan, the other I can't make out.The 2 granddaughters enjoyed rocking them for a while recently.I guess they'll be with me till my rendezvous with time, then the kids can decide what to do with them.I can hear them now,"what the heck did the old man want with these?"

dolls

We have a box at MIL's house and she wants to sell them but we have no idea of the value. There is a doll shop in Denver that says they buy. From the sounds of all above, I think we should probably bring them home & "study up" a bit on ebay, then decide what to do. Some are very OLD.
