My daughter and I visited Dawn Dorsey on her homestead last summer.

Thanks Andrew for posting these pictures. It was really nice of you. By the way i'm dawn(loveranchlife). Mostly a lurker but sometimes I put my 2 cents worth in.
This place was SUPER rundown when we bought it about 2 years ago. The roof on the barn was bad and we redid it along with new paint,windows and trim this summer. The little shed beside the house had basically no roof or windows but we salvaged it along with new paint. The house we shingled this summer and next summer we'll paint it. The tin for the little sheds roof came off of 2 buildings that we couldnt' salvage from beside the barn. Basically anyone can redo a place reasonable if you really want to. We got alot of our lumber from the dump that was in super shape.
I hope you all enjoy them and can stop in sometime if you are going through like Andrew was able to do. Dawn
