Santa came early!
Even though we have had night time temps in the single digits and I was iced in for three days in a row. My turkey hen hatched 13 out of her 15 eggs! I had to bring the babies indoors and put them under a heat lamp. Hopefully in years to come I will have a shop building with a brooder area. But here's a picture of the little babies. What a great Christmas surprise!

They always imprint on me. Anytime I'm trying to work on the car or in the barn, I'll have a flock of turkeys, ducks, geese and chickens around my feet! I hand feed the turkeys hard boiled egg yolk when they are babies, so I know they are all getting enough to eat.
